I applied to about a bazillion and one job offerings that had the words “work from home”, “telecommute”, and even “virtual assistant” marked. After a month of applying to anything and everything that showed promise, I finally got a call back. This position is strictly based off commission and it’s all about helping people set up travel plans, which is pretty simple since I’ve been doing that since I began working at a hotel 3.5 years ago. First day is today! It’s basically been answering phone calls. And since it’s a slower season, I’ve answered one phone call so far and the gentleman declined to leave a call back phone number. Sigh.. I hope this pans out! I’m poor and I need something to boost up my self esteem.
